Hospital

In 2006, my mother had a serious lung operation. At the time I was living in Paris and she in Brazil.
I went to Sao Paulo to be with her. I only spent two weeks in the hospital, unlike my sister who spent
two months with her. But in that short time right after the operation, the days felt like months and
in order to stay sane I took photos documenting our time together.
Essa série é sobre minha mãe. Em 2006 ela foi operada do pulmão. Na época eu morava na França,
mas vim para São Paulo e passei duas semanas com ela no hospital enquanto ela se reestabelecia.
Essas fotos foram tiradas durante aquelas duas semanas que pareciam intermináveis.
